He's probably just uncomfortable and insecure about sexuality so he recoils from talking about it. That's his issue, not yours. But as to why he subscribes to different people, it very well could be that he likes variety in sexual arousal. I think most people do. I could be monogamous with the hottest, horniest, sluttiest supermodel on Earth and I'd still want to whack it to other fantasies sometimes. That's just human. As long as there's no deception or breaking of agreements and he's meeting your needs and being engaged with you sexually I wouldn't worry about it.
