Well it's not all guys but almost all guys anywhere close to your own age have learned almost all of what they think they know about women, sex and relationships from other guys online. There's a lot of resentment towards women because guys think they hookup with everybody but them and women are objectified and thought of as inferior and only as sex objects. That's the basic problem. It's a more serious and dangerous problem if guys are doing ANYTHING to you without your enthusiastic consent. You have the right to revoke your consent for sex at any time in every US state except North Carolina. So I'd recommend talking to them upfront more about your limits, no choking etc, and if they still try it stop them whatever way you can! In most states that's then sexual assault but the odds of it being prosecuted are pretty damn low. If you have a good girlfriend who can be around and in earshot but not in the same room can help a lot to keep the guy from abusing you against your consent. Good luck there's no easy way to tell the good guys from the assholes. ?
