as someone who was on over a dozen different medications for anxiety throughout my life, most of them SSRI’s, i changed my meds for exactly the same issues you’re having. as soon as i switched to a non-ssri i lost weight, my sex drive came back, i stopped getting hot flashes all the time and i stopped feeling like a zombie. i’m now on Buspar for anxiety (technically DPDR/panic attacks) and it has helped tremendously!! i highly recommend asking your doctor about it. i’m on 15mg three times a day currently. ssri’s are complete dogshit in my opinion i will NEVER go back on them. the large amount of side effects and negatives vastly outweighed what little (if any) benefits it had for me personally.
